Jill was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she developed a love of writing, film, and horses. She obtained her BFA from the film school at Florida State University and went on to join the Director's Guild of America and work as an assistant director on major motion pictures and television series.
Throughout her film career, Jill has continued to nurture her love of writing. She hopes to bring complex, vivid female characters to life against backdrops of fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian societies.
